How to Join
SW Washington Co-op
There are two membership plans available:
Annual Basic Membership
- $250 (under extreme hardship a $25 a month payment plan is available with Co-op approval)
- Feed at a little over cost
- Ability to purchase other goods that the co-op buys
- Tool and equipment rental (as available).
Executive Voting Membership
- $1,100 a year (no payment plan is available)
- Involved with the purchasing of goods
- Investments in revenue
- Can purchase all products at cost
- Share in free products that become available
- Invitation to attend the quarterly co-op meeting to keep updated on current
pricing and products offered. (attendance is NOT mandatory)
- No mark-up and free farm delivery (however additional fees may apply)
Membership to SW Washington Co-op includes the agreement:
- That no products purchased or shared from the Co-op will be resold within a 300 mile radius of the Co-op.
- Membership privileges are for the member only and cannot be shared or transferred with neighboring farms.
- The understanding that breaking this agreement may result in the revoking of my membership without refund
of dues and that all discharges will be final.
- Failure to make payments in a timely manner and as agreed upon will result in revoking of membership and
discharge from all Co-op programs.
All Co-op memberships are subject to approval. The contract between signer and SW Washington Co-op is an annual agreement.
Currently membership is not mandatory; however it will be to the advantage of the customer for informational purposes and product
availability.
